Yasemin Balut Balin, MD

Dr. Yasemin Balut Balin is a nephrologist with a strong background in internal medicine
and advanced training in kidney and hypertension care. She earned her bachelor's degree
in biology, cum laude, from UCLA and her medical degree from St. George's University
School of Medicine in Grenada. She went on to complete her internal medical residency at
College Medical Center in Long Beach and advanced fellowship training in nephrology and
hypertension at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Fellow.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Balin has been recognized for her leadership and
teaching, serving as a mentor for medical students and residents and has received awards
and honors for her dedication to patient care. She has also been involved in quality
improvement projects and delivered lectures on kidney health, critical care, and infectious
diseases.
